Atlantis - The Lost Continent

The site was updated and moved back in 2004 to Lost Continent of Atlantis - Myth or Reality. This site will not be removed for historical purposes, so I can see from where I started and how far I got, by being listed in all search engines as a top site for Atlantis. On this page, here, the information is biased by my belief in Atlantis. My new page is objective. Yes, I finally did it! And it is also constantly updated.

A Simple Introduction:

Every time the skeptics read this page they tell me one thing: Atlantis didn't exist because some experts say there couldn't have been one. Well, the same experts believed in the Evolution theory like: Homo Sapiens coming from Homo Neanderthalensis BUT, there's a BUT, it was just proven (as "Discovery Channel" showed) that they actually even lived once in the same time and area in Europe, but Homo Neanderthalensis couldn't make it further.

The experts who don't believe usually say: nature made all those forms underwater. Question: How can nature make underwater something which looks so close to what is artificially made, when the same nature wasn't able to do it on earth. You're not gonna come now and tell me that the drawings at Nazca are made by nature, are you? And... how come the nature did so many perfect things in the same area, or exactly on the shore next to the sunk land where the other relics are? Because nothing on earth looks that close like roads, columns, domes, pyramids, perfectly carved stones like the ones in Atlantic. How could nature build temples underwater? Now don't ask me how could people from Atlantis do it because when those "little thingies" were built the continent was still there!

Experts don't believe in Atlantis but they don't understand where Olmecs, Maya and Inka civilizations came from. Everything is like: "lemme throw a coin" or hypothesis. Same experts don't understand how it is possible that these people know so many things, how it is possible that Maya was so perfect in predictions and science ( making even a better calendar than we had for a long time) and HOW it is possible that the same people to be so primitive when it came to medicine (when someone was ill the priest was called and he would even throw a dice in order to determine the cause of the disease). What else they dunno, but they pretend to, giving new theories every year - those theories which soon will fall because they don't satisfy the reality? They have no clue how rocks of tens of tones were brought from hundreds of kilometers away. They dunno how the Egyptians built their pyramids, where they got the science from, why some relics found in South America and Atlantic look so much alike AND like the Egyptian ones but they are much older? What else? How the monoliths on the Island of Easter were put in a vertical position with that old technology and why some weird old civilization needed this when they left the place a short time after.

People consider Plato one of the wisest man in our history but when he talks about Atlantis they want us to believe that he's not really talking about the lost continent but just making a metaphore? C'mon! Let's get real! Everythins is a faerie tale for them... until someone who didn't like their theory decides it's time to prove OUR theory right. And it will take time, as always... but one day those guys are simply gonna look back and say: "Some closed minded people said there wasn't any Atlantis..." Anyway...

There's white population - tribes - living in areas like South America and Africa. The Spanish, when they first came there found them. They look like Europeans. How did they get there? ALL of them around that spot in Atlantic where Atlantis should have been.

Now, to have more stuff to think about: how has a primitive tribe called the Dogon (in West Africa, Mali) known before our scientist, astronomical data concerning the Sirius stars? Why is there search for alternative explanations when the Dogon tribe themselves state that they received this information from the extraterrestrials visiting from Sirius?

History books don't mention anything about the descoveries regarding Atlantis and our experts don't agree with it either. Well, of course they can't explain it in their ways so... if you can't explain it you just pass it to "paranormal" or "stories". It's the same with what we still learn in school - Darwin's theory again which ignores all the other anthopological evidences found during the last century. ("Times" magazine) Besides, to be sincere, they have no clue about our evolution... Just theories again... And a proof here and there, dated with carbon... once it says 10,000 years old, then it says 5000, then we go back and say 12,000. One day we will maybe find out that it was built yesterday while our scientists were asleep or busy fighting each other.

Geologists agree that many tropical lands moved thousands of years ago and are now in Alaska, under ice. We even show documentaries about that. We talk all the time about how the world changed and about the Würm period and the lands that sank during that period BUT we don't admit that one of those lands could have had the name of Atlantis.

On the map drawn in the 15th century there were still small islands - in the area where we say that Atlantis was - islands that are not on our maps anymore. But one of the maps who had it was among the ones used by Columbus when he decided to set sail for the Indies.

Ancient writings coming from ancient people (Aztec Mayans, Inka) or from famous writers (Diodorus, Kantor, Marcellinus, Plutarch, Heorodtus etc.) talk about Atlantis or/and their people. Maps show it. Archeological discoveries in the area and around the world show it. There was something there!

It's indeed easier to explain everything with our expert mind and say: There wasn't an Atlantis. But be careful: we thought we had the same "briliant" mind centuries ago.

2. Writings

The most famous writing is Plato's.

But Plato wasn't the only one who described Atlantis. Plutarch did it also in "Lives". The destruction of Atlantis appears also in "Oera Linda Book" from Holland, which is one of the oldest books ever found. And also in Aztecs and Mayans writings - "Popuhl Vuh", "Codex Cortesianus" etc.) Many Greek writers wrote about it. Many old civilizations knew about it. So you see, it's pretty impossible for a whole planet to "invent" a continent and that continent to have the same location and the same people and same level of evolution etc. in all the stories. Or... maybe... isn't mithology a veeeery weird thing? ;)

3. Relics, ruins

Atlantis and Lemuria are the continents which sank 10-12,000 years ago.

Atlantis was the link between the two American continents, Europe and North Africa, while Lemuria lied between South America, Oceania and Asia. ( This is one of the theories. )

It is believed that these two continents were actually "humanity's craddle" between 30-12,000 B.C. The Cro-Magnon, Chancelade, Grimaldi, Obercassel, Brünn, Predmost, Comb-Capelle etc, so Homo Sapiens Fossilis, suddenly appeared in Europe in 30-12,000 B.C. They weren't coming from Homo Neanderthalensis, and there were many anthropological and genetical differences between them. Where were those Homo Sapiens Fossilis coming from? It's odd that their amazing knowledge appeared spontaneously, without any kind of transition.

Edward Herbert Thompson, the one who discovered some Mayan centers in Yucatan and also "the fountain of the death" from Chichen Itza, came up with a new theory that time. A powerful civilization lived in Atlantis till 10,000 B.C. when the water sank it. If Atlantis' people died their collonies situated on the East side of both American continents, the North, West and South of Africa and the Atlantic shore of Europe and Mediteranean area, escaped. The Atlanteans had a big influence on the local population. This is how we could explain the Mayan, Egyptian and Creten enygmas, the existence of the white population in West Africa and Mediteranean (Eg.Guanchos in Canaries).

Henry Breuil was talking about some very tall white people with yellow or reddish hair which were living in South Africa. The paintings at Namib and Bradberg show it. They look like the ones in Egypt or Crete.There were found skulls belonging to the European rase from 8-6,000 B.C.
The painting "The Whire Lady" ( Brandberg - South Africa) is 3-5,000 years old. Its main characters are o white woman with red hair and a man wearing Creten clothes (boots, short, sword...) Around them - black people and animals.

1970 - Another expedition, this time to Canaries in order to study the origin of islands and of Guanchos tribes who occupied these seven islands. On the Maroc's shore they saw tribes of white people so much different from the Arabian population. The writings discovered here are close to the Mayan's ones and the deaths are burried as the Egyptian's mummies, in graves or pyramids. In De Hierro Island there were found also lots of pyramids, reminding of Mayan or Egyptian culture. However, those Guanchos didn't know navigation... Then how come their rituals are so close to the ones of other populations living thousands of kilometers away?

We are still in the Canaries, around Lanzarote Island. Here, under the water, there are ruins and stairs made of huge stones. These kind of ruins can be seen also in the water around Fuerteventura Island.

The Guanchos tribes were masacrated until the end of 15th century.

1902 - William Niven found an unknown town on Mexican shore and into the water surrounding it. The buildings look like the ones built in Roman Empire's period.

"The Wall of the Big Snake" in Ohio... Height: 15m; Width: 3,5m; Length: 400m. From the plane it looks like a snake.

Soon after D. Rebikoff, J.M.Valentine and dr. Evans discovered a building having the shape of the "P" letter, whose length, if it were a straigth line, would be 120m. Each rock has 25-30t. The walls in the East are 70m long and 10m wide and the ones in the West are 500m long and 10m wide. The corners are perfectly shaped in the 3 dimensional axes. The main walls are absolutely straigth, having a North-South orientation.

"Bimini Wall" (1968) - dr. J.M. Valentine

1967- The submarine "Aluminaut" investigated Florida's, Georgia's and South Carolina's shores and found an enormeaous "highway", at 1,000m under sea level, having more than 250km (length) and a width of 20m. The submarine was able to use the road after they installed it the wheels. The "highway" was a paved road on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean made of blacktop magnesium oxide.

There are many sunk cities around Bahamas. All of them prove that the civilization who lived there was much older than the Amerindian one. It looks more like the Egyptian culture, but this one only appeared after 6 000 B.C.

In 1970, Dr. Ray Brown explored a pyramid on the sea off the Bahamas. The four divers who were with him found roads, domes, rectangular buildings, unidentified mettalic instruments and a statue holding a crystal containing miniature pyramids. The people at the University of Florida discovered that the crystal amplified energy that passed through it. And it wasn't the only crystal like that which had been found.

In almost all cases pottery was found in the Atlantic's waters...

New evidence:

Case in point is the "discovery" of the oldest known mummy in North America. The mummy, named the Spirit Cave man, was found on the shelves of the Nevada State Museum. Discovered in Nevada in 1940 it was originally thought to be 2000 years old. Recent radiocarbon dating has pushed its age back to 9,400 years (7,400 BC).

The most intriguing facts is that the mummy was wearing moccasins and shrouds of woven marsh plants. The weave of the shrouds indicates that it was made on a loom. If these findings turn out to be true it would mean that the there were people in North America more than 9,000 years ago with the knowledge and technology to weave cloths on looms. Such a level of sophistication again pushes back the dates of early civilization and should make us question some long held assumptions about the primitiveness of ancient people. DNA and other tests are being undertaken.

The Jim Allen Theory

This theory seems pretty good. I will give you a couple of clues, and it remains for you to buy his book. And personally , "I" can't wait to get my hands on it! Discovery Channel showed some things though. I hope Jim Allen will find the truth. :)

His theory places Atlantis in the Andes, which shouldn't make anybody wonder given the fact that our archeologists fight so much about that area and its civilizations. So far, everything seems to be going right... He focused on Altiplano in Bolivia and he uses Plato's "Dialogues" to verify his data.

For now, I'll give you some clues to get you interested in the subject.

The channel Plato talked about seems to be there and it is cutting the plateau in two parts. It looks like it was man made, indeed. The area has a rectangular shape, just as it was described... Allen was able to find the length of a 'stade', the unit used by Plato when he calculated the distances - and everything fits into place. Even the wall he wanted to find and he traced on his map was found where he thought it would be.

South America has indeed problems with floods and earthquakes so a calamity could have happened there thousands of years ago.

Allen also talks about the number of 'tribes' found in Atlantis, because Atlantis is the continent but also the capital of the continent, thus the city itself. So he searched Tiahuanaco - there ARE mysteries there indeed.

Hopefully, Atlantis will be there! :)

I would also add... that the theory with a small continent or island in Atlantic doesn't fall if Allen proves right. The Atlanteans were having vessels traveling towards other continents and I remember they were once wondering if it was possible for those boats to get to Africa by crossing the Ocean. Well, the Atlantic is STILL there... and under its waters, there are relics belonging to those sunk lands. I'd find that a perfect place to stop if problems appeared. Or THAT sunk land can STILL be the 'beginning', until everything went wrong and the Atlanteas had to move. Let's not forget what the tribes in South America say: the Gods came from the sea; those white Gods, before the Spanish conquistadores came. :) And who says Atlantis came into being only 100 years before Plato wrote his Dialogues? It could have been a nice civilization that started centuries before on other lands, just like Homo Sapiens moved around the world or just like the Spanish conquered South America. Is it so difficult to assume that someone HAD to leave its land to survive and to move to some other place? We move everyday nowadays. So did the nomads. So?

I think everything fits into place. Including the archeological discoveries... :)

I know many of you find these theories crazy & Co. And I also know many who support these theories. If 'mind' didn't inquire, we'd all be still trying to find the wheel, hm? ;)
